Islam has cast a long review-able shadow over fourteen centuries as has other belief systems during whatever period of their existence. Is Islam that much different or not.

The Qur'an addresses many things that Muslims over the years, centuries and for a millennium and more did not fail to take to heart. We know as well that Islam was a world power when the West was in tatters. The West in olden days battled Islam. We all know about the crusaders. Centuries ago, the West re-learned much thanks to Arabs and Muslims. Muslims also taught outsiders new things, like how to produce sugar from sugar cane. The New World owes Muslims a debt, and not always in the way they might like.
