Islam has endured for more than fourteen hundred years as a religious force.

Islamic desires for it to be the one and only global force majeure allow us to see the tracks it has left along its way.

Islam is but one of many belief systems, but Muslims insist Islam must be the one belief system to end all others.

That sense of a religious manifest destiny has hardly abated. It is unlikely to do so as long as the Qur'an retains its strange attractor qualities. That also means internal and external chaos and upheavals are likely to continue.

Since there truly is little to no safe and secure unity under Islam, believers are likely to suffer continuing collateral damage in the name of the religion they bow to five times a day.
