Summer Is Over
In the morning sun,
We show our colors,
That are just beginning,
In hopes that they be enjoyed.
Our leaves are changing,
To red, orange, yellow, and brown,
Amongst the green of pines,
Above a lone building.
Every year at summers end,
We bring our colors for all to see,
We make the skies all brightly filled,
With our changing colors to bring new life.
When we change our colors,
We then lose our leaves,
And we wait for spring,
To renew our life and leaves.
