I would have kept you up just a little bit

longer.

If only I had known that you would be

gone

It would be the last time I say “I love

you “

I would have said it hundreds of times

over. 

If only I had known that it would be the

last hug

It was the last time I will hold you in my

arms,

I would have held you and hugged you

tighter.

If only I had known that you would be

gone

I would have done everything a lot

better.

Hugged you harder, held you longer

and loved you better.

If only I had known you were going to

have that heart attack

I would have liked to have one too.

So that we could have gone on our last

journey together.
