July 2019 (A year later)
Once again it was a hot July. It was hard to believe that I was setting a Guinness Book of World Records of Longest UC Appeal. The fact of the matter was it was getting time to throw in the towel. I had to (And opted to) pay Mr.Cohn's flat rate twice because this appeal had gone on so long and I felt guilty knowing how many emails and phone calls chewed up Mr.Cohn's time. I was driving a milk truck in my boxer shorts down to Virginia because I knew trucking in my “Skippy's” would surely expedite the air conditioning repair needed in the milk truck I was driving. Once I got halfway down I-81 a cop was sure to cruise along side of me for a minute and give me a funny look but I didn't care about only being in my ta-dun-ta-duns. I was doing what I had to do.
Once I finally got back to PA I was able to tune into WDAC 94.5 a devoutly religious gospel hymnal type radio station meant for old retired people that carped on the younger generation mostly. Evangelist Tony Evans was sharing a funny story about a man bothering his close buddy at 2am for only a loaf of bread. His buddy insisted his friend was crazy and informed him it was late at night and he had a daughter trying to sleep. “I DON”T CARE! I'M HUNGRY! I NEED A LOAF OF BREAD!”
It was in fact this religious inspirational story that left me compelled to call Mr. Spencer one last time for an update on my appeal. Being the professional that he is, Mr.Cohn was able to gravitate away from the paper trail and in the end all the victory for the UC win went to Big Bad Bob!
