Close on the overly-beautiful and overly-preppy Chioma as she stands tall, wearing a MIND-BLOWING smile as she looks right ahead to the pair. She speaks up:

CHIOMA

(to Femi’s Step Mother) Good morning, ma!

FEMI’S STEP MOTHER (to Chioma; with a smile)

Come here my daughter.

Chioma shyly walks into the arms of Femi’s Step Mother who leads her into the house, through the open door, with Femi lagging a few inches behind the two. Close on the Security Man as he gladly locks the gate behind him and disappears into his chamber, singing a native Yoruba song.

INT. THE LIVING ROOM, FEMI’S PARENT’S MANSION - CONTINUOUS

Pan across a hall-like living room, extravagantly-furnished, with indistinct sounds from a television set off-camera, soothing the sterile atmosphere. We arrive at a man, seated on a king-size chair, dressed in a native attire made from an expensive material. His black gold wristwatch is flaunted to the Screen, as he holds a clean newspaper to his face. Chioma and Femi’s Step Mother walk into the living room.

FEMI’S STEP MOTHER (to Femi’s Father; re: Chioma)

Darling, look who Femi brought to us today.

Femi’s Father lowers the newspaper to catch a sight of his wife and Femi’s gift. We can now see his face: A dark-skinned nicely-wrinkled man, with good skin and an excellent white mustache. He pushes his eye glasses closer into his face to have a proper gaze at Chioma. He welcomes her with a smile, still seated:

FEMI’S FATHER (to Chioma)

Welcome my daughter.

(to Femi’s Step Mother, re: Chioma)

Such a beautiful lady.

Chioma blushes as she greets the old man. Femi stands far behind.

CHIOMA

(to Femi’s Father) Good morning, sir.
