Love at first sight, so attracted to you

I offered you gifts destined only for a few

But your cold heart did me a mighty wrong,

And made a lie of the friendship for which I longed.

Like a mongrel dog you kicked me away

Allowing me not even one moment of personal say,

Hope suddenly turned to nothing on this darkest of days.

Now my anger and pain have gone their hurtful way

And my heart is no longer cast down

It continues upwards to the highest summit

There to accept your bloody crown.
